The short version of the deal

• What this is

  Report Poop is a neighborhood project run by people who live in Hollywood. It is not a city service, not enforcement, and not affiliated with the City of Los Angeles. Filing is anonymous: we do not collect a name or an email. For a hazard or a problem that needs an official response, call 311.

• What you send us

  By filing a report you confirm the photo is yours or you have the right to share it, that it shows the incident and not a person, and that you painted out any face, license plate, house number, or name before uploading. You give us permission to publish the photo, the 100 block, and the date as a sign on this site and on our Instagram.

• What we do with it

  A person reviews every report. We may reject any report for any reason and we are not obliged to explain beyond the reason shown on your report page. We may take any sign down at any time. Signs come down the same day when someone asks us to.

• What you do with the sign

  The printable sign is yours to post on your own property. Posting on property that is not yours, on a door, a car, a mailbox, a tree, or public infrastructure may be against local rules, and that is on you, not us. Take signs down after two weeks.

• What we will not do

  We do not publish names, faces, plates, house numbers, or who filed a report. We do not accept reports that identify a person, and we do not investigate who did anything.

• No warranty

  This is a volunteer project offered as is. We make no promise it will be available, accurate, or that a sign will be posted, and we are not liable for what anyone does with a sign or a report.

• Changes

  These terms can change. The version on this page is the one that applies.
